As we continue our global expansion, we are looking for talented individuals to join our team. Due to continued growth, we are looking to add a Human Resources Generalist to our team. Position Summary The position of HR Generalist is responsible a number of regular responsibilities as well as project work within the Human Resources department. This position will be responsible for supporting the Human Resources team in various facets of activities including staffing and recruiting, policy implementation and enforcement, and employee relations and labor relations. In addition, this position will administer the payroll program, ensuring accurate and timely processing of the various payrolls. This position will be responsible for preparing Board of Director materials and supporting the SEC materials. These responsibilities require a high-level of integrity, a strong depth of HR knowledge, and a proactive approach to HR-related issues.
Education
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or a related field desired.
- 2-3 years’ experience in payroll processing, experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred
- 2-3 years’ experience in Human Resources preferred
- Generalist experience preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
- Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
- Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
- Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
- Undertake tasks around performance management
- Prepare Board of Directors materials and support SEC Filings
- Responsible for payroll processing. Working with supervisors, ensure that time records are accurate and timely. Research any pay issues and implement appropriate fixes. Perform SOX audit functions.
- Interview and assist in the selection of qualified candidates to fill vacant positions, including background checks, testing and maintenance of applicant tracking records. Also, may participate in new employee orientations.
- Work with Senior HR manager in addressing employee relations issues and engagement events.
- Assist employees and supervisors with questions concerning company policies and programs. Provide assistance to employees and supervisors in solving work-related problems and disciplinary issues.
- May get involved in administering the Skill-Based Pay production performance management program.
- Adapt to the needs of the department in working on projects that involve key initiatives.
Additional Responsibilities
- Assures compliance with local, state and federal regulations such as EEO, FLSA, ADAA and FMLA and other projects assigned.
