Internship - Marketing Intern (Summer 2024)

Location : Third Ward, Milwaukee, WI

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Marketing Intern will be responsible for assisting with digital, experiential, and content marketing, social media planning & posting, and CRM database management. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Digital Marketing 

  • Run and document analytical reports for website, social media, and other digital platforms
  • Help develop and manage eBlast calendar
  • Research top trends and new platforms to ensure digital marketing efforts in the department are cutting edge.
  • Contribute new ideas for digital campaigns in efforts to grow the database.
  • Research, coordinate, and help execute PPC and other paid advertising on social media platforms.
  • Assist Digital Marketing Manager with new company website launching summer of 2023.

Experiential Marketing 

  • Research and coordinate sampling and ordering of SWAG for face-to-face events
  • Assist in a variety tradeshow program coordination.
  • Help with planning and execution of company events as needed.
  • Assist as Ambassador for VIP and Special Events including host on our 65’ demo yacht.

Content Marketing 

  • Assist in development and execution of social media calendar
  • Select appropriate photos and/or graphics to compliment social content
  • Post content as directed by Digital Marketing Manager
  • Opportunity to contribute copy for potential use in eBlasts, websites, print, and social

Department Organization

  • Manage inventory of logo’d merchandise
  • Manage/files and digital assets


  • Must be enrolled in or have recently completed a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Business Administration, or other related field.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of internal and external contacts.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of products.
  • Experience with Canva preferred but not required.
  • Exposure to social media platforms, Salesforce, or other CRM systems preferred.
