About STREAMLINE-CRP

StreamlineCRP™, is a major step forward in contrarotating propulsion technology. It was developed to meet the demand for higher efficiency, reduced emissions and better onboard comfort. StreamlineCRP is a next-generation azimuth thruster. It builds on Veth Propulsion’s long experience designing and making advanced propulsion systems. It is purposebuilt for passenger cruise vessels and ferries. StreamlineCRP™ delivers superior hydrodynamic performance, even in demanding, shallowwater conditions. 

StreamlineCRP is an example of Veth’s widely deployed contrarotating propeller (CRP) azimuth thruster platform. The new system is available in multiple configurations, including LDrive, ZDrive and compact integrated thruster solutions. This flexibility enables seamless integration across a wide range of vessel designs. Core benefits of azimuth propulsion are preserved: precise vessel control, reduced vibration and optimal thrust in all directions.
