Our company has built a global reputation for quality and innovation and is looking for an enthusiastic Field Service Engineer – Mechanical (Marine).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
What will you be working on?
As a Field Service Engineer Mechanical, you’ll be an integral part of our team, collaborating with internal departments and providing expert technical support and service to our customers. You will become the expert on Twin Disc’s legacy marine clutch, playing a key role in analyzing and resolving technical issues.
You will oversee product installations, commissioning, and overhauls, while troubleshooting equipment malfunctions. You’ll develop and deliver technical training programs to help customers understand our products and services. Additionally, you’ll prepare materials for new service manuals, review existing ones, and write technical documentation. You’ll also handle service-related emails, create service reports, and follow up on actions for field investigations.

You are well-presented, flexible, and a customer-oriented individual. You possess strong analytical skills, can work independently, solve problems effectively, and thrive in a dynamic market where we strive to deliver innovative, high-quality products and excellent service.
- You hold a BSME or BSEE degree or an equivalent European diploma.
- You have knowledge of gearing, clutches, electronics, hydraulics, and system processes.
- You are proficient in both spoken and written English.
- You possess strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Travelling is required for customer visits and to Twin Disc entities, both nationally and internationally, up to 50% of the time.
- This role is roughly split between 70% practical/ handson work and 30% theoretical tasks
- You are willing to travel abroad on short notice (ranging from a few days to approximately 3 weeks).
