Below is information on the processing of personal data pursuant to Art. 13-14 Reg.to EU 2016/679 GDPR. Additionally, you will find that Twin Disc Srl, in compliance with the provisions contained in Legislative Decree 24/2023, has adopted an internal communication system (hereinafter, also "WallBreakers") to allow the reporting of alleged violations of the principles contained in the Decree as well as other national and European Union regulatory provisions that require the adoption of whistleblowing systems.

Whistleblowing

Twin Disc Srl, in compliance with the provisions contained in Legislative Decree 24/2023, has adopted an internal communication system (hereinafter, also “WallBreakers”) to allow the reporting of alleged violations of the principles contained in the Decree as well as other national and European Union regulatory provisions that require the adoption of whistleblowing systems.

 

The Company therefore intends to promote a culture within its corporate reality and towards its Employees and Collaborators, in compliance with current regulations.

 

To this end, both employees and third parties are granted the right to report, through the appropriate whistleblowing channels specified below, alleged or actual violations of which the whistleblower has become aware due to the functions performed or the role held.

 

In particular, a reporting channel is provided that guarantees the confidentiality of the identity of the Whistleblower by electronic means as well as the possibility of forwarding the report even anonymously.

 

By way of example, reports can be made relating to:

  • Violations of regulations relating to the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing
  • Violations in the field of personal data processing for Privacy purposes
  • Infringements of competition law
  • Violations in the field of health and safety in the workplace (Legislative Decree 81/2001)
  • Discriminatory measures and gender-based harassment
  • Damage/fraud perpetrated to the detriment of the Company or to the detriment of third parties
  • Conflicts of interest
  • Violations of other regulations among those included in Legislative Decree 24/2023

 

It is important to underline that the channels mentioned do not provide for the possibility of submitting complaints and complaints of a personal nature.

Any complaints that refer to the contractual relationship or the relationship with the company may be addressed directly to the Personnel Department by e-mail (hr.srl@twindisc.com), certified e-mail (Twindisc.srl@pec.it) or registered mail with return receipt to be sent to the address where the company is based.

 

To make a Whistleblowing Report, Twin Disc Srl makes 4 different channels available to all legitimate parties:

 

  1. Signalling platform (Wall Breakers)

Reachable at the address https://twindisc.wallbreakers.it, the reporting platform complies with the indications and characteristics contained in the ANAC Guidelines.

The platform is also able to handle completely anonymous reports;

  1. Voicemail on Dedicated Line

Active 24/24 at 051/0910648 the answering machine is equipped with a technology for digital voice distortion capable of making the tone of the voice of the signaller unrecognizable. The telephone number does not allow you to communicate directly with an operator but only to leave messages on the answering machine;

 

  1. Written reporting by Postal Service

In order to guarantee the confidentiality of the whistleblower, the report must be contained in two sealed envelopes: the first with the identification data of the whistleblower together with the photocopy of identification; the second with the report, so as to separate the identification data of the whistleblower from the report. Both must then be placed in a third sealed envelope bearing the words “confidential” on the outside and addressed to Twin Disc Srl, Via San Cristoforo 131, 40017 San Giovanni in Persiceto – Fr. San Matteo della Decima (Bo) and contain, in a clear and legible way, the words “Confidential Personal – WhistleBlowing”;

 

  1. Individual meeting with a member of the WhistleBlowing Committee:

It is possible to make an appointment with a member of the WhistleBlower Committee to arrange a direct meeting by leaving a message on the answering machine of the reserved number 051/0910648 using the procedure at https://twindisc.wallbreakers.it.

 

The management of the reporting channels is entrusted to an autonomous Committee specifically established and appointed by the Board of Directors of Twin Disc Srl composed of personnel specifically trained for the management of the reporting channel.

The persons in charge of the investigation guarantee that the information acquired will be treated with the utmost care and absolute confidentiality.
