As a Service Coordinator, you are an administrative and technical expert with a flexible mindset and a solution-oriented approach. You are responsible for coordinating all services and technical field activities to ensure that customers are served efficiently all over the world. You report to the Twin Disc EMEA Service Manager. In this role, you are focused on the Twin Disc products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
What will you be working on?
In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks aimed at delivering excellent service. You are the link between our customers and the various departments in coordinating the service activities. You’ll work alongside colleagues who travel around the world and the finance teams in Belgium and the US. Preparing monthly reports is an important part of your job, keeping track of the status of orders, warranty claims, invoices, credit notes, parts and availability. You will provide administrative and technical support and act as the first point of contact for customers, distributors, external departments, and end users. As a link between Twin Disc and our stakeholders, you will play a crucial role in promoting collaboration and customer satisfaction. In addition to these core tasks, you will contribute to the development of policies and procedures for our service department. What do you bring?
You are an experienced professional with a flexible and customer-focused attitude. You have a sharp analytical mind, can work independently, and know how to solve problems effectively. You are in possession of excellent communication skills. In addition:
- You have a HBO degree, HBO thinking level or equivalent in Technical Administration or Business Administration with technical background or a related field such as Customer Service with Technical support.
- You have at least 3 years of work experience in a similar supervisory role or customer service affinity.
- You have a excellent command of the English and preferably the Dutch and French language (spoken and written).
- You have broad knowledge of corporate administration.
- You have excellent customer service skills, with experience in negotiation and diplomatic handling.
- You have good computer skills, proficient in the use of spreadsheets (Excel), word processing (Word), and databases (Access) such as Oracle and Salesforce.
