Technical Support Engineer (Twin Disc)

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will work in a small close-knit technical team and play a key role in supporting customers and internal stakeholders worldwide. You will develop deep expertise in Twin Disc’s legacy products, including electronic controls and land-based and marine transmissions, and be at the forefront of solving complex technical challenges that directly impact customer operations.

Responsibilities

What will you be working on?

In this role, you are responsible for analyzing and resolving equipment malfunctions, supervising installations, commissioning and overhauls, and providing hands-on technical support via phone, email and ticketing systems. You also develop and deliver technical training, contribute to service manuals and technical documentation, and initiate and follow up on field investigations, ensuring continuous improvement of products, processes and customer satisfaction.

You are able to work independently, solve complex technical problems, and communicate effectively in an international, dynamic environment where quality, reliability and service excellence are key.

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline;
  • You have experience with the Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams;
  • You are proficient in both spoken and written English;
  • You have experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of gearing, clutches, electronics, hydraulics and system processes is a plus;
  • You are willing to travel nationally and internationally for customer visits and Twin Disc entities, up to approximately 35% of the time;
  • The role is divided into approximately 30% hands-on technical work and 70% theoretical, in-office activities.
