Control Systems

Like all of Veth Propulsion's products, all operating systems are also developed and produced in-house. The Veth control systems (VCS) offer you the opportunity to read out, monitor and analyze data and alarms.

SWING-OUT SYSTEM

If you require a retractable, 360-degree steerable thruster for auxiliary propulsion, especially in cases where height is limited, the Veth Swing Out might pique your interest. These thrusters can be fully folded flat inside the ship, ensuring a low construction profile.

The Veth Swing Out utilizes components from the Veth standard azimuth thruster range. It can be hydraulically lowered out of the vessel’s hull and steered limitlessly through 360 degrees once fully unfolded.

Advantages

Particularly advantageous for mega yachts, the retractability of the Veth Swing Out offers significant benefits for large vessels. It enhances vessel maneuverability, allowing more precise steering during port entry and departure. Retracting the auxiliary propulsion units when no longer needed, especially during open-sea cruising, contributes to improved speed, reduced fuel consumption, and lower CO2 emissions.

Efficient Vessel Integration

When designing the Veth Swing Out, we carefully consider the available space and its potential. The Veth Swing Out is seamlessly integrated into the vessel’s structure, and you can rely on the proactive approach of Veth Propulsion to collaboratively find the optimal solution for incorporating it into your vessel’s lines plan. By becoming an integral part of the ship’s structure, the Veth Swing Out occupies minimal space. Our in-house team constructs the basic structure, which is then customized according to your specific requirements.
