Parallel Hybrid (Veth): Diesel + Single Electric Motor with Energy Storage

This parallel hybrid system uses a Veth azimuth thruster and propulsion controller. It’s best suit-ed for short-trip vessels such as ferries and tugs with sufficient shore time to charge batteries, and for vessels operating in restricted areas and zero-emission zones.
