Operation

Discover unparalleled thrust with minimal immersion using the Compact Grid – the ultimate marine propulsion solution designed for maximum performance and reliability. Equipped for both standard operation and emergency propulsion, this compact marvel is driven by an electric motor, ensuring seamless power delivery in any situation.

Available in various configurations, including the VCG-400, VCG-600, and VCG-750, the Compact Grid offers versatility tailored to your vessel’s needs. While the VCG-400 and VCG-600 models feature direct propeller placement, the VCG-750 utilizes a reduction gear unit for enhanced efficiency.

Water intake occurs seamlessly through the propeller, angled beneath the vessel, and is expertly guided outward through a hydrodynamic streamlined housing, passing through a steerable grill mechanism. This grill, capable of rotating a full 360 degrees, ensures optimal control and maneuverability in any direction.

Crafted with precision, the Compact Grid boasts a compact gearbox design with minimal exterior pipework, coupled with oil-bath lubrication for the transmission and injection lubrication for critical drive shaft bearings. Standard-equipped with a 4-blade NiAl bronze propeller, this thruster promises durability and efficiency in every voyage.
