This serial hybrid system uses an integrated electric motor and can both generate power and store energy. The system optimizes fuel consumption with a generator. It’s best suited for vessels operating in restricted areas and zero emission zones.
Optimizes fuel use via gensets operating at the top of their fuel efficiency range. When propellers operate at low power, some gensets can be switched off, and the rest continue in their optimal range
