The Veth-Jet is still used extensively in the inland and maritime navigation, but the thruster is also ideal for multiple sectors such as dredging, crane ships etc. The Veth Jet can be driven by a diesel engine, electric motor or hydraulically and is available in several variants, such as vertical-drive unit and with a gondola. Operation

Veth Jet simple and effective
The principle behind the Veth Jet is simple, effective and largely self-sufficient.. Water is sucked in from under the vessel through a horizontal propeller. The water is then bent 90° through a 360° rotating drum and guided through a channel.

The entire thruster incl. gearbox is manufactured in-house. The Veth Jet is available in 2, 3 or 4 channel versions.
